Casas da Lupa, is a secret place, to be discovered between the São Teotónio and Zambujeira do Mar villages.
Casas da Lupa are 3 houses, connected by a garden, classified as Rural Tourism, where the traditional architecture from Alentejo on the exterior of the houses meets with modern and comfortable interiors. Guests of Casas da Lupa have 3 bedrooms and 8 suites, all of them with private porches. On the suites the fireplace becomes an important asset for the winter nights. The accommodations are all distinct one from another, sharing the magnificent panorama of the eucalyptus woodlands and the aromatic garden.
On the far side of the garden a generously sized pool is the optimum place for rest and to play on the many sunny days this region offers you. For those that prefer beaches and the ocean there are some of the best beaches Portugal has to offer, Zambujeira do Mar and Odeceixe, are just a small distance away.
Among the cliffs you can walk the paths used by fishermen, discover Fonte dos Amores. Alentejo is a region of beautiful plains, blue ocean and marvellous beaches, from long shores to small beaches surrounded by dunes and cliffs.
For those that wish a bit more excitement Casas da Lupa are the perfect refuge to visite, the National Park of the Southwest Alentejo and the Vicentina Shore have by more than 100 km
of protected shores, where you can find many unique species both fauna and flora.
People come to this region mostly for the contact with nature and its extensive natural patrimony. The weather is mild and sunny for most of the year and during the summer is perfect for long days on the beach. There are many activities to be enjoyed in here: surf, paragliding, walks, bicycle rides, horse riding, or hunting on the Casas da Lupa property.
On Casas da Lupa the cuisine is one of the main hobbies of its owner, that enjoys preparing meal for the guests that are equal to none. On the dining room there are several paintings on the walls creating a cosy and artistic environment. Breakfast are also served on this room , all of it covered in glass and with a view to the garden.
